Helen Mirren is an Oscar-winner and a Dame. According to certain episode of 30 Rock, she's also a wizard -- a theory we happen to support, even if it was founded by a fictional character. (How else to explain how good she looks in a bikini?)
Mirren's latest accomplishment? She's your Body of the Year for 2011.
Body of the Year, huh? It's a title you probably never heard of before now. (When -- oh, when -- will online polls sponsored by fitness club franchises earn the same gravitas as People's annual Most Beautiful list?!)
But 2,000 participants in an online survey sponsored by L.A. Fitness have spoken (or clicked), and -- as dodgy as the poll's pedigree may seem -- we fully endorse the results.
Mirren, 66, leads the ladies' list, her physique (and mastery of the rack-preserving arts) gaining her 17.65 per cent of the vote.

Yet this was no retouched studio shot, with the only work to transform her toned body having been carried out during gruelling hours in the gym.

She bought the 500-year-old building and grounds near Lecce for around £680,000 and immediately drew up big plans for the estate with refurbishment work starting last summer.
The property was uninhabitable, with tumbledown walls and a driveway that was little more than a dirt track.
Her new Italian home is surrounded by high fortified walls and has a mature vineyard within its grounds. The Mediterranean can be seen half a mile away.
Dame Helen also owns an enormous home in California and a property by the Thames in Wapping, East London.
I can’t recall ever seeing a woman of 63 wearing a bikini. That doesn’t mean I haven’t seen one, just that I have probably blocked out the memory, but I am sure if they looked as good as Helen Mirren does in these pics, she’d warrant a second glance…
I think I can safely say that she totally fits into the GILF category; I would say GGILF, but I am not sure there even is one of them.
This is the same woman who played the Queen and won her an Oscar. She definitely was not sexy in that role.She is now a Dame and even has her own castle in Italy, so she does have Queenly manners, if not a Queenly figure.
